What we collect
Trade enquiries submitted through this site (company, contact name, business email, phone, market, brief) and, for confirmed bookings, the traveller information your agency provides for operating the itinerary: names, passport details where required, dietary and accessibility needs, and travel documents.
How we use it
Solely to quote and operate travel arrangements: contracting hotels, guides, transport and venues; issuing documentation; and providing on-tour support. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or contact your clients directly.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers delivering the booked services (hotels, transport providers, guides), and only the fields each supplier needs. Enquiry form submissions are processed by Formspree; email is handled by our mail provider.
Retention
Booking records are retained as required by Japanese tax and travel-industry regulations, then deleted. Enquiry data that does not become a booking is deleted within 24 months.
Your rights
Agencies and travellers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time by emailing b2b@vbjapandmc.com.
